WWE: 10 Reasons The Network Is Going To Be Great

5. Potential For New Content

Admittedly, the list of exclusive shows for the new rolling channel leaves a lot to be desired. The jewel in the crown is being pushed as the "Legends House", but in my opinion that show looks absolutely terrible. A bunch of men in their Sixties doing various activities is hardly the most compelling viewing. If it was Flair and Piper with a bottle of Jack Daniels in Vegas it might be a different story ... but WWE are going to play it very safe it seems. Much like Total Divas, Legends House is probably going to be a load of scripted nonsense. Still, the potential for good new shows is huge. A none kayfabe discussion show, similar to WWE.COM's old 'Byte This' broadcast, would be a welcome addition. Shoot shows are of huge interest to the smart fan audience, being a real area that could be developed into a must see weekly show. The kayfabe stuff could of course still get broadcast to the younger audience, who shouldn't be discounted given their huge part of WWE sales. A third weekly show is also a conceivable idea. Raw and Smackdown are plentiful for most fans, but it seems appropriate that the Network should have its own event.
