6. The Babyface Push
Having been a bad guy for so long, it makes sense that WWE's current push of Reigns is as a good guy. He may have destroyed the good guys at Survivor Series, but he wasn't booed for it, because fans were made to respect the toughness of Roman to overcome the odds. That is what will get Reigns over as a face - he is a no nonsense tough man who will fight to overcome whatever is placed in his way. WWE should progress his face turn slowly and thoughtfully, much like they did with Batista back in 2005. WWE will greatly benefit from having such a big powerful man in the face role. Right now the babyfaces in the company are built around the likes of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, smaller guys who wrestle fast paced styles. Reigns is just a straight up ass kicker, who will beat opponents down with boots to the face and vicious over head slams. Fans can buy into the monster brutality of Reigns as a good guy. There has of course been The Big Show in this role recently, the big giant babyface. But Reigns will be something entirely different, an emerging star rather than an ageing veteran. The WWE's biggest new babyface could well be a world champion by the time Survivor Series 2014 rolls around.
