2. The Level Of Competition Has Dipped
This is something which was expected when you consider how quickly Ryback has fallen from the ladder, from the days he competed with CM Punk he is now once more taking on superstars in matches which do not mean anything but just take up time during a Raw or SmackDown broadcast. It is unfair to say this only applies to Ryback as there are a lot of superstars backstage who must be suffering from the same thing. Or they may be even more frustrated because they hardly ever compete whereas Ryback does manage to get some ring time.
But the difference is that Ryback had a great start and he should have kept the consistency so the creative and the bad booking are partly to blame for this. But it does come as no surprise as to why Ryback is frustrated in the WWE, the better the opponent the better Ryback will perform and the only thing stopping that from happening is creative looking for a better storyline for him. He actually aligned himself with Paul Heyman as a 'Paul Heyman Guy' which looked very interesting as Paul Heyman is the only man that can actually change his fortunes around, but sadly that too faded away very quickly. If Ryback is to resurrect his career in the upcoming months, he needs to be involved a lot more with better superstars. He may not be the best in-ring worker but with a right storyline he might not need to be competing to prove as much as he needs to right now.
