WWE: 10 Reasons Seth Rollins Heel Turn Was A Mistake

4. Evolution Should've Scouted For A New Member For A Few Weeks Before Choosing Rollins

Batista leaving and Rollins joining Evolution absolutely feels like WWE missed the boat on pursuing another level of thought. The idea of Evolution scouting both Rollins and say, Cody Rhodes, to be in Evolution would have made for awesome television. Rhodes' losing streak angle feels flat. Goldust teaming with the likes of Sin Cara and Kofi Kingston feels lifeless and uninteresting on many levels. However, the idea of say, Triple H being involved by advising Cody to allow his brother to find a new partner because he "has something in store for him" would be fun. As well, the idea of Triple H trying to pull aside each member of The Shield would be fun, too. This leading to a match where Cody's hotheadedness at Triple H also scouting The Shield ends up with him and Goldust fighting them impromptu, with say, Rollins and a partner (say, Ambrose, with Reigns at ringside). The Shield win after a particularly vicious beating on Cody, with both members seeming to work extra hard to ostensibly impress Triple H - who is at ringside calling the match on commentary. When the match is over, Ambrose turns his back to leave, and that's when Rollins whacks him with the chair. When Reigns goes to grab the chair, he gets a low blow from Triple H, and eats the curbstomp. In one segment, Cody and Goldust get started on the road to being reunited, while Rollins turns heel. Six characters getting freshened up in one segment sounds better than two getting killed. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
