4. Talent
A division cannot be a success without talented individuals taking part. As we saw with WCW's crusierweight division with the likes of Malenko, Benoit, Jericho, and Mysterio back in the 1990s, build a division around top tier talent and with the right storylines you can make it a success. Dean Ambrose is probably one of the most intense and gifted speakers in the past decade. Antonio Cesaro is simply a freak athlete and phenomenal wrestler. The Usos are undoubtedly devoted to the wrestling world and that shows in their ring work and attitude. Roman Reigns is a beast who keeps improving. Harper is one of the most solid big men in recent times. Daniel Bryan is the best wrestler in the world and was involved in the new beginnings for the tag division with Kane. Stalwarts like Goldust and Kane supporting and working with the younger superstars regularly helps the division to no end as well. One of the best parts of the tag division and the talent involved is the scope and variety. You have veterans like Cesaro and Goldust, young up-and-comers like Reigns and Rollins, and intriguing characters like Wyatt, Harper, and Ambrose. You have Samoan twins. You can't get bored watching a division so varied. A whole article could be written about all the talents in the tag division, some of which could be world champion one day. With all this talent utilised regularly the division has truly been given a boost.
