WWE: 10 Reasons John Cena Heel Turn Would Be A Mistake

1. It Deserves A Proper Payoff

So say Cena actually does turn heel and ends up aligning himself with the Wyatt family. What then? Cena continues to stand beside Bray and his family the whole time? Does Cena eventually betray the Wyatts? If he does, wouldn€™t that just make him a babyface again? There have been talks about turning the Wyatts face, but trying to work in a plausible scenario where Cena as a heel and the Wyatts are a face group is quite the mountainous effort for any writer. Creative has to be cautious about the direction they plan on taking the turn, otherwise it€™ll pull a Shockmaster and fall flat on its face. The Wyatts could become the catalyst for Cena€™s heel turn, but they can€™t be the sole reason. Much like how they can€™t just brainwash him into doing their bidding, Cena can€™t be a lackey heel. He needs to become a legitimate bad guy with an endgame and a personal agenda not just the wrestlers, but with the fans themselves. The fans have been a constant for Cena. They have been both his biggest ally as well as his worst villain. When the time comes for him to turn, it needs to have long lasting effects and consequences that shake the foundation of the WWE Universe. What other reasons are there for Cena€™s heel turn being a mistake right now? Do you think it€™s a good idea? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
