8. Other Big Money Matches
Though the above poster may have only been made by a speculative fan for this year's Wrestlemania, it could well become a reality. The Undertaker vs John Cena is one of those marquee matchups that would really see a passing of the torch from one man to the other, and it's hard to see any outcome other than Cena winning. He's routinely built as invincible, and would like be the younger guy that an aging Undertaker would put over. That's the old school way he likes to do business, as evident from his match with Lesnar this year. Cena and Undertaker have had brief encounters with each other, namely at No Way Out in 2007, when Cena teamed with Shawn Michaels to take on Undertaker and Batista. But a one-on-one match between the pair, at a huge event like Summerslam, Survivor Series, or even Wrestlemania, would be a surefire money-spinner, and a battle for the ages. Another name that was doing the rounds earlier this year for a worthy opponent of Undertaker was The Rock. It now looks like his next match, if ever wrestles again, will be against Brock Lesnar. Given Brock's reputation as a worker, combined with The Rock's mighty film career insurance, it might actually be a safer bet to put him in the ring with The Undertaker rather than the Beast Incarnate. Undertaker's a safer worker, fights at a slower pace, and seems to know his own strength better than Lesnar, whilst also having worked great matches with The Rock before, too. Undertaker likes to work with guys that he knows he can trust, and The Rock's in-ring performances would help ensure peace of mind for everyone involved in that match. Add to that the fact that Undertaker has one of the best gimmicks ever, and The Rock is one the best talkers ever, and you can guarantee a huge buyrate for such an event.
