WWE: 10 Reasons The Undertaker Will Probably Wrestle Again
5. To Put Over Younger Talent
For every new generation that comes along in the WWE, there's always a plethora of new dream matchups to be made between the rookies and the already-established roster. If there's one man in the whole of the WWE that has done more to put over new guys, show them the ropes, make them look great, and be the locker room leader figure, it's The Undertaker. And with a whole swathe of names currently getting a push in the WWE, The Deadman's presence could certainly help to build them into huge superstars, and cement their place in the WWE history. Guys like Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, and Cody Rhodes could all work really well against The Undertaker. All of them are around the size and athleticism of Shawn Michaels and CM Punk, and we know how well Undertaker worked with those guys. Smaller guys would help carry the pace of the match, and would sell Undertaker's big spots well enough to make him still look fairly indestructible (can you imagine Ziggler taking a chokeslam?!). Other guys on the roster like Bad News Barrett, Sheamus, and Alexander Rusev, could all work as great heels against Undertaker for one of the smaller pay-per-views. While a Sheamus vs. Undertaker match at this year's Wrestlemania - as was originally rumoured - didn't really sound all that enticing, it's more to do with the fact that it didn't really fit the occasion; it could still be a great match on a show like Payback or Battleground. Those guys could all work an angle where they're the young guy trying to emulate Brock Lesnar and prove that they're also worthy of beating The Undertaker, and given how weak he looked in New Orleans, it'd be easy to ration that they actually could. Mark Calaway is one of the last, truly old-school guys in the business, and if anyone is willing to put a new guy over in the twilight of his career, it's him. And if any wrestler were to be given a win over any one single guy, they'd want it to be The Undertaker.
