10. All Good Things...
The 10th reason? This may sound crazy but I think we loved the attitude era so much because it burnt out quite quickly and, inevitably, ended for what many fans consider to be mediocre wrestling at best. I will admit I have fallen out of sync with current events in wrestling and I plan to get back on track soon now that I writing about it, but even if Triple H has managed to find a way of rekindling the essence of Attitude into today's wrestling, it is still only an essence. Like I said, I cannot see WWE going back to the extremely violent days of old because of all the bad publicity it has had to deal with over the years off of the back of that, such as the Chris Benoit tragedy for example. It will never live up to the Attitude era, we'll never see a true Ministry of Darkness again, I doubt we will see another Corporation again, especially with Vince missing from TV most of the time now and Shane not even working for WWE anymore. Whilst this may seem a sad note, which I guess it is, it is a good thing. Do you really want to see someone else, take CM Punk for example, getting on the turnbuckle and raising his middle fingers? No, what made Attitude more than anything is its uniqueness against what wrestling was before it, and I would rather seem something unique than something imitate. If they have captured the essence of Attitude it means to me that they have found some of the ingredients that made it work and born something new and unique. To me that is very appealing, and the fact that Attitude remains untouched to me makes it all the more better, if it was still going today I really don't think it would shine as brightly as it does in my mind. Thanks for the memories Attitude...
