4. Brock Lesnar Makes His Intentions Clear
Whenever that music hits, the crowd goes crazy and then feels fear for whoever happens to be in the ring. Due to his part-time contract, every return is a big deal, even if it's only been a few weeks since we last saw him, and Paul Heyman, walk down the ramp. Odds on to fight The Undertaker at WrestleMania, it makes sense for him to interrupt some babyface wrestler bigging up the Green Bay crowd before destroying them and standing in the ring saying no-one can take him down before...the gong strikes and The Undertaker appears. It also makes sense because this would be Heyman's second opportunity in as many years to end the streak. What if the Taker match is off though, where does that leave The Beast Incarnate? They have deliberately built Brock back up again after the SummerSlam victory over Punk and the decimation of Big Show at the Royal Rumble. To what end though? Obviously, the threat to the streak is an obvious one but how about destroying a returning legend (Hogan?) before going up against a newly turned babyface in Cesaro, or a young pretender like Big E? These match-ups would at least feel fresh in the same way Punk v Brock did last year. The WWE has finally started using Brock well after his bizarre loss to Cena and then his middling feud with Triple H. They need to capitalise on that or else the last year of his contract will mean nothing. Anyone remember his claim to be WWE Champion? Obviously WWE creative doesn't. Maybe they should check back on that and follow through with that little nugget.
