WWE: 10 Steps To Booking Evolution In Their New Run

10. Make Orton And Batista Relevant Again

Evolution has almost occurred by accident this time around. The WWE had initially wanted to do a spring feud of Orton vs Batista, but Daniel Bryan's popularity necessitated a Batista heel turn. The fact that Bryan was already feuding with Orton and Hunter, with Batista added to the equation, naturally made it an Evolution reformation. The first Evolution angle back was arguably WrestleMania 30. It's just as well this storyline did develop, particularly in Orton's case. Such was the lack of interest in Orton, he was struggling for relevancy even as he held the WWE undisputed championship. Now being back in the nostalgia of Evolution, he finally has some spark back to his character. We are interested to see where Evolution goes, so Orton benefits as a result. It has extended his usefulness in the main event scene. The same can be said of Batista, he is vastly more intriguing as a heel in Evoultion than he would have been as a babyface. The first booking step WWE need to take is further enforcing the new cohesion of Hunter, Orton and Batista. Together they can become the major heel storyline of 2014.
