10 Steps To Booking Ronda Rousey As WWE Divas Champion

6. Ronda Vs. Steph

Over the next few weeks following the Rumble, Steph continues to brag that she's now had Ronda Rousey's ass taken out of her house twice. She continuously gives it the big one, insisting that not only is she more powerful than the UFC champ, but that she could blatantly beat her in a fight anyway - Ronda's a fluke, a freak of nature, but fighting is in Stephanie McMahon's DNA, dammit! This eventually draws a response from Ronda, who confirms via a video posted to her own YouTube page that not only is she coming for Steph - she's coming for her at Fastlane in Ohio! Ooooooooh, here it goes! Needless to say, Fastlane kicks off with a smug Steph confirming that there is heightened security at the arena, and that there is no way in hell that Ronda will get anywhere near her ring. In hell, she says! Steph's so confident, in fact, that she takes a seat at ringside, presiding over the first couple of matches of that night's show with a relaxed grin on her face. Silly Steph: obviously, Ronda does eventually make it in, jumping the barrier, grabbing Steph by the hair and throwing her into the ring! Ronda, mic in hand, and with Steph locked in a standing arm bar that we're fairly sure could snap her elbow into bits, demands what we've all been waiting for: Ronda vs Steph, one-on-one, at WrestleMania 32! Steph intitally refuses, but with security (and a frightened looking Triple H, who already has a ton of crap on his plate thanks to The Rock - but that's for another article) unable to intervene for fear of pushing Ronda into action, she eventually relents. The match is made. It's going down in Dallas, but once Ronda relinquishes her hold and Steph regains her composure, Steph swears that with everything she has in her corner, Ronda will not walk out of Texas in one piece. Ooooh!
