Featured Match: Shelton Benjamin vs. Ric Flair, Intercontinental Championship. Raw, February 2006. An oxygen tank is the ideal weapon to use if you're looking to take out a mammoth Great White Shark, ala Jaws. It's also a great weapon if you are looking to steal the Intercontinental Championship, as Shelton Benjamin proved on the February 20th episode of Monday Night Raw in 2006. It was a fairly uneventful Intercontinental Title match, that saw then-champion Ric Flair and Benjamin each attempt to utilize the Figure-Four Leglock. Once Flair locked the hold in, Shelton's Momma- who was standing at ringside near her wheelchair- began clutching her chest. Kind-hearted referee Jack Doan rushed to her side, and called for paramedics. During the distraction, Benjamin grabbed the metal tank and brained 'Naitch with it twice, scoring the win, and the title. And- thankfully- all the chest pains went away immediately following the three-count, as Momma celebrated with her championship son. Sadly, a month later, Benjamin announced his momma would be having heart surgery; she never showed up in WWE again.
