WWE: 10 Superstars Who Ended Up With Surprising Jobs After Wrestling

6. Mickie James - Country Singer

Mickie James

Mickie James has always liked trying her hand at different professions, be it porn, modelling or wrestling. Her latest venture outside of the squared circle involves country music, and believe it or not, she is actually starting to have some success.

She isn't about to throw the tights in just yet I feel, but having left TNA in 2013 and WWE seemingly uninterested in returning her to a television spot, it looks like the present full time music role could be the future. Her latest album, Somebody's Gonna Pay, was released in 2013, debuting at number 15 on the Billboards Heatseekers chart. James has done several media spots for the album and is currently on tour. Given her limited mic skills in the WWE we never really seen her as a singer, but clearly with her honky tonk music James has found her voice.

Then again, don't expect to see James to go down in history as the new Dolly Parton just yet. One iTunes review states "Former WWE Diva Mickie James just didn't impress me outside of the wrestling ring with this effort. Lot of shouting, lot of noise and little substance. Get a Miranda Lambert, Dixie Chicks or Pistol Annies CD instead."
