4. Mr. Perfect

If he was perfect at sports and everything else in his life it also meant he had to be one of the smartest guys in the ring too. You can't be perfect without having the intelligence to pull it off. He had one of my favorite gimmicks ever. He wasn't just a better athlete than you, better looking and confident than you, but he was also smarter than you too. There was nothing that he wasn't good at it. It's not like WWE could bestow this gimmick on anybody. They did it because Curt Hennig looked the part. It's just a shame that they didn't put the WWE Title on him because in my opinion he's the best wrestler they had that didn't win it. The gimmick was good, fans booed him and he could work. Should have been champion. Perfect did have a babyface run, unlike most of the guys on this list. However, he was always better as a heel. I think they only turned him babyface because they went as far as they could go with him as a heel by that point and fans were ready to root for the guy because he was such a good in-ring performer. He's one of my favorite wrestlers ever from my childhood. It's such a shame that he passed away so young and didn't get to see his son Curtis Axel make it into WWE.
