2. Mr. Kennedy
The man known as Ken Anderson has since thrived as a member of the TNA roster, and is probably in the minds of many wrestling fans. However, his WWE run ended up being so unlucky that everything that he should have been remembered for never actually happened. If bad luck was a lifestyle, then Mr. Kennedy would have been the spokesperson for it. In a gimmick that was somewhat annoying over time but proved to be relatively popular, he was touted as the next big superstar. Unfortunately, the only title reign he had in the WWE was a single run as the United States Champion. It's not that WWE head honchos didn't have faith in him, it's just that when he got the opportunity to break the glass ceiling - he would be stopped dead in his tracks. The main culprit of his bad luck was a myriad of injuries. The saddest instance of these injuries came when he had to lose his Money in the Bank title shot to Edge. While his injury originally appeared serious, it turned out that it was in fact not a serious injury at all and he could return to action. In a moment of sheer panic, WWE officials booked him to drop the title shot to Edge before this realisation came to light. Mr. Kennedy should have been added to the list of wrestlers who became WWE Champion or World Heavyweight Champion after cashing in their shot. Instead, his one chance of becoming memorable was eliminated due to some really, really bad luck. After this incident, his career never really recovered. He was implicated in the WWE steroid scandal in 2007 and had some storylines that never really made history. His most remembered moment would probably be the fact that he was the last person to face Eddie Guerrero before his untimely death. Thankfully for Mr. Kennedy, his run as Mr. Anderson in TNA has led to the success that he should have had in WWE. As a 2 time TNA World Champion, he is currently a part of the Aces and Eights storyline that is taking over the company and it always featured as one of the most prominent wrestlers on the show. A welcome change from the continued bad luck he had during his time with WWE.
