WWE: 10 Superstars That Prove Wrestling Really Is A Travelling Circus
10. Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston may seem like an odd choice to open up a list of wrestlers who prove that the business is a travelling circus. He is normal-looking and doesn't have a really over-the-top persona that would peg him as a circus performer ... that is, until the WWE Universe watches him in the ring. Circuses and carnivals not only feature strongmen, fortune tellers, clowns, and magicians ... they also showcase some of the greatest acrobats and gymnasts in the world! Kofi is, far and away, WWE's greatest acrobat, agile on the ground but just as comfortable taking to the skies. Thanks to his innovative turns in the annual Royal Rumble Match as well as his popular outings in Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Matches (hello, he used a broken ladder as a pair of stilts for Pete's Sake!), there's no denying that Kofi would just as at home on a trapeze under the big top as he would walking on his hands around the ring or leaping from the edge of the barricade to the ring apron. "Acrobatic" Honorable Mentions: Evan Bourne, Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Ultimo Dragon, John Morrison, & Essa Rios.
