WWE: 10 Talking Points About John Cena’s Eventual Heel Turn

9. John Cena Is Not Believable

john-cena-wwe-champion "You could drop a house on John Cena and he would still kick out at two." How many different variations of this one-liner have we heard about Cena? Dozens? Hundreds? More? For me, this is perhaps the primary aspect of Cena's character that draws the most heat from fans. This is the one that causes them to hate him and want to seem him turn heel even more. The fact is, he already operates like an indestructible killing machine, why not give in and accept it? Cena's penchant for not selling moves is perhaps matched only by the attitude his character displays on a weekly basis. He takes the worst beatings from his opponents, in matches that he physically should not win. But not only does he go over, he does so with a smile on his face. He is not phased by any mind games that other Superstars may try on him. In reality, years of waging war in a ring combined with the hate that is constantly spewed in his direction, should make for a tougher, meaner John Cena. Eventually, John should get tired of the hate and decide that he's finished trying to be the good guy. And that is a very believable outcome.
