WWE: 10 Things You Need To Know About Seth Rollins

9. He Was Already A Veteran Wrestler Before Joining WWE

Seth Rollins Lopez had seven years€™ experience as a professional wrestler on what€™s now known as the independent circuit before he signed a developmental contract with WWE and moved to Tampa, Florida to work with Florida Championship Wrestling. He€™d carried multiple heavyweight titles with small promotions, moving on up to Full Impact Pro and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (even working one match in TNA), before getting his first taste of national and international exposure with Ring Of Honor in 2007 under the name of Tyler Black. It took him a couple of years to work his way up the card, and his high-flying, frenetic style didn€™t come without a price. In September 2009 at only twenty-three years old, he went under the knife for the first time due to problems with a bulging disc in his neck. However, five months later all of his hard work finally paid off and his belief in himself was vindicated. At their eighth anniversary show he lifted the ROH World Championship, a title he would hold for seven months until, following a minor bidding war with ROH and TNA, Tyler Black signed with WWE and became Seth Rollins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-eJ1HtGtrk
