2. Sheamus Must Turn Heel
WWE.comIt's hard to believe it's been five years since Sheamus made his WWE debut and even harder to believe that he's spent more time as a face on the main roster than he ever did as a heel. As great of a wrestler as Sheamus is, his persona has become incredibly stale since 2011. He still garners good reactions from crowds, but easy to tell that most members of the WWE Universe have grown tired of his Irish shenanigans as of late and they're ready for a change. Sheamus hasn't been involved in anything meaningful since losing the World Heavyweight Championship in late 2012 aside from winning his second United States Championship this past May. He's had a fine reign as champion thus far, but he's in need of a fresh batch of challengers that doesn't include Alberto Del Rio. A heel turn, however, could help reinvigorate his character and possibly even propel him back to the main event scene. Again, Sheamus' matches are always entertaining, but it's difficult to get invested in anything he's involved in due to the fact that he hasn't evolved his character at all. A heel turn is necessary for Sheamus in getting his career back on track and putting him in the role he's most comfortable in.
