The party-loving Superstar only debuted in NXT on March 6, 2014. His match that night was a quick squash but the character was portrayed so well and made such a lasting impression on the fans that it was clearly only a matter of time before it was moved to the bright lights and big stage of WWE's flagship show. Few could have expected that it would be so quickly. Much is expected of the Rose character. His debut has been heavily hyped via the recent video packages airing on Raw and SmackDown and there has been a noticeable buzz about the character. The recent vignettes capture the aura of the character perfectly. But there is still a great ways to go as far as adding layers and further developing the persona. If the company can execute the debut perfectly, it will be up to the performer to carry his end of the proverbial bargain. Whether he can or not remains to be seen.
