WWE: 10 Ways CM Punk Quitting Could Now Become A Storyline

"I'm the best in the world" CM Punk famously declared for much of the past three years. Except he isn't any more. As Punk stated on his 2012 DVD documentary, "you can't be the best in the world sat on your couch at home." That was partly the reason that Punk ended up re-signing with WWE in 2011, and it could prove a factor in him still coming back this year after "going home" from WWE. After a couple of weeks cooling off, Punk may very well have seen enough of his Chicago apartment. This is a man who loves pro wrestling. Is his frustrations with WWE enough to keep him away from the company long term? Vince McMahon in a concentrated effort could surely get Punk back. The straight edge star may be mad with things right now, but as Steve Austin has pointed out, it's a hell of a lot of money to walk away from in Mania season. When Punk calms down and thinks with his head instead of his heart he might well look to see what creative compromises can be made with McMahon and Triple H. As the second biggest full time draw in the company, Punk hasn't burned his bridges just yet. I encourage both sides to work their differences out and get back on the same page. Punk is the best wrestler and talker in the business, he owes it to himself to achieve his potential in the industry. As for the McMahon's, they can't afford to let such astute talent slip through their fingers right now. This feature will examine 10 ways that WWE and CM Punk can turn this whole controversy into a brilliantly worked storyline ...
