WWE: 10 Ways The Kliq Conspired To Take Over The Wrestling Industry

7. The N.W.O

nwo The embodiment of the Kliq in WCW was the NWO €“ the New World Order. Hall and Nash came in with a superb blurring of the lines gimmick. They called themselves 'The Outsiders' and acted as if they were actually invaders from the WWF. Nash debuted and declared "We're taking over!" He perhaps literally meant it. He would soon be the booker of the show and world champion. Was it really a gimmick for Nash? In retrospect it appeared he really was destroying WCW from within, he booked storylines to crush talent and drained money into his own account. The NWO really did start to destroy WCW, as the once great angle mutated into a creative cancer. Now it may seem crazy, but this is a look at conspiracy - was this all a Kliq move to bring the industry under their control? Think about it, Nash's actions were toxic in WCW. The company was dead just half a decade after he got on board. He then went back on to McMahon's pay roll and was booked in main events with Hunter at WWE shows in 2003. The Kliq was back in charge of the WWE, and with WCW now gone, that meant they were on top of the whole industry.
