WWE: 10 Ways To Make The Undertaker Vs Brock Lesnar Less Predictable

10. A Stipulation Of Lesnar Retires If He Loses

The most compelling wrestling matches are the ones where you can't really imagine either man losing, the contests that are immovable objects against irresistible forces. Right now there's no compelling reason to believe Lesnar will beat Undertaker, so WWE need to give the former UFC Champion a reason to win. What the creative department could book is a stipulation where Lesnar's career is on the line. It would give us the fans that element of thinking to ourselves "well I can't really see Taker losing, but I can't see Lesnar leaving either." As a result, some fans might start to think Brock could win, convincing themselves that perhaps Undertaker is leaving and passing the baton to Brock on the way out. We have seen the retirement angle work well with Shawn Michaels against The Undertaker, and with Lesnar still being relatively young it could work even better. The fact we already know that Lesnar has another year on his contract makes the stipulation even more intriguing, fans will be thinking that Lesnar has to get the victory because he has another year whereas Undertaker has no formal contract. The way WWE would get round the stipulation is what they often do with retirement matches: just don't honour the stipulation. Have the career on the line to create the intrigue but Taker still of course wins. Then bring back Lesnar in the summer regardless, Paul Heyman perhaps arguing he found a loop hole as the devious manager that he is.
