WWE: 10 Ways The Undertaker's Return Will Be Epic

9. A Veteran Promo

It doesn't have to be anything as dramatic as the Cena ending. Undertaker could be used in a far more formal capacity, opening Raw to nab initial interest and cutting a promo to put over the new Network era. He would be the fitting choice to do this. He has been with WWE since 1990 and is the locker room leader. His presence to endorse the Network is bigger and more meaningful than Hulk Hogan. Granted Undertaker in his current guise of the Deadman is a man of little words, but that would make it so much more impactful if he did cut an endorsement speech. A real life shoot in which Calaway walks to the ring as Undertaker but speaks from the heart would be a great sell for the Network. Make it an occasion. WWE could even play off Undertaker's promo to endorse the Network by running with a 'Best of Undertaker' theme for the first week of The Network run. When it comes to the most important change in WWE history, it seems only right that the most important performer on the roster is placed front and centre.
