4. Harvey Wippleman/Santino Marella (as their Female Alter Ego's)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4LaiNj-zWg I wanted to embarrass Wippleman so I included this photo, when I could just have easily included one of him shaking hands with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but that would only make him seem cool. In 2000, he became the first and only man to win the WWF Women's Championship, in a very misguided attempt from the WWE to show they took everyone's feelings and beliefs into account when writing story lines. For some bizarre reason Wippleman entered a match under the name 'Harvina Wippleman' and quickly won the title in (and this is the only time this match has ever been held in the WWE) a "Lumberjill Snow bunny" match, a match that took place in a snow filled pool surrounded by female wrestlers whose purpose was to keep the competitors from leaving the pool. He lost the title a day later to Jacqueline (a real female wrestler btw) in a match that lasted under a minute ending the reign. What makes this so embarrassing is that Wippleman proclaimed (live on television) that he'd won the title because a woman didn't deserve to hold it. If his openly sexist comments weren't enough from the WWE writers it was the incredible mistake of repeating the incident which leaves them so high on this list. Santina Marella won an all female Battle Royal - at Wrestlemania - because he wanted to connect to his female side - in the process sparking complaints from female activist groups who argued that their already sexualised portrayal of young women on WWE television was not helped by such an overtly sexist gimmick. At least Marella can always take pride in the fact that he was eliminated from the Royal Rumble 09 in 1.9 seconds - a record which finally beat The Warlord's previous in 1989 by a tenth of a second. It's the little things.
