2. Cena And Hogan

Cena and Hogan "doing something" is as far as this speculation has got. It is obvious that if it was directly a Cena vs Hogan match then that would be huge - and it could still happen. But the chances are slim. Hogan's back and knees are completely shot, and Cena would struggle to pull a good match from the past it wrestler. WWE however are questioning if Hogan is simply playing 'hard ball' in contract negotiations by talking about being too injured to work a match with Cena. It could just be the classic Hogan ploy of extracting more money from the promoter. Hogan vs Cena could still be the Wrestlemania 30 main event. What is more likely is a Hogan and Cena tag team. It would allow Cena to do all the work, and then toward the end Hogan could get in the ring to finish it. WWE in some capacity wants to put together its two biggest entertainment brands of Hogan and Cena. The big problem could be that a team of Cena and Hogan might possibly be booed out of the building, which would be embarrassing for everybody involved. There are lots of reasons we should expect the Hogan deal to get done. The Hulkster is very keen, and TMZ this week reported on John Cena wanting it to happen. That is significant because in 2013 we have seen some sort of working relationship between WWE and TMZ. For example, Triple H's haircut and Darren Young's sexuality were both given to TMZ by WWE. Is the Hogan "news" from TMZ just part of the WWE's return angle? If Hulk does not return then Cena could be involved in several other scenarios. A Cena vs Undertaker match is huge business, or there may be some sort of heel turn and a match against Daniel Bryan. There is a pretty good chance that whatever match Cena is in, he will be the closing act one again at WWE's biggest show.
