WWE: 10 Superstars Who Will Likely Be Released In 2014

7. Yoshi Tatsu

YoshitatsuWhat the heck? Yoshi Tatsu is still employed? Yep, he sure is...somehow. Tatsu hasn't appeared on Raw or SmackDown in over 10 months, and that was just to do a quick job to Mark Henry. Before that, it was another entire year before appearing on a main show. Perhaps he's like Milton Waddams from Office Space, in that he's still receiving a paycheck when he was actually fired a long time ago. Tatsu isn't a bad talent, but WWE has never bothered to do anything with him. His biggest storyline while in the company was having a crush on Maryse in NXT. Yes, that was the most character development he ever had. It's strange that no Japanese wrestler has received a decent push in the company since Tajiri. There are a lot of Japanese fans, but WWE doesn't even try to cater to them. Tatsu could have played the role of the country's hero instead of a horny comedic figure. If Tatsu makes it into 2015 employed by the WWE it will be a minor miracle. But the same could have been said for him in 2013 and 2012. Maybe he's just a really, really nice guy.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
