WWE: 10 Wrestling Books You Have To Read

3. Controversy Creates Cash, Eric Bischoff

35491 This is a brilliant book. Eric doesn't just run through his version of events in his pivotal role in the industry, he also offers some genuinely interesting advice in the world of business. Sure, you could argue he isn't the best businessman in the world, but his statements on branding and marketing are excellent. You get the feeling Bischoff really did know his stuff on media and creativity. For example, he talks about SARSA - "I started preaching the formula to my writers, I called it SARSA : Story, anticipation, reality, surprise, action. Not every idea can be equally strong in all five elements, but that's the goal." Eric makes sense in a lot of his writing. I dare say he would be a real plus to the WWE creative system if they weren't too proud to have him. Granted, he would need reigning in at times, but this is the man who innovated with the NWO. He has better experience than any of the Hollywood writers Vince currently brings in. His closing statements on the state of the industry are very interesting and I finished this book with a ton of respect for Bischoff. I suggest anyone who hasn't read it to do so.

Grahame Herbert hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
