6. Gene Snitsky: Major League Baseball Bodyguard

A lot of professional wrestlers attempt to make the leap to the big screen when their career is complete, and Eugene Snitsky is no different. With his, um, unique look and appeal, he has secured roles in the sequel to Manos: The Hands of Fate (a movie most people only know via its mocking on Mystery Science Theater 3000) and on several episodes of ABC's hidden camera show Primetime: What Would You Do?, where he has played a biker, a criminal, and a man harassing a little person. ("I didn't do it!") A lot of professional wrestlers end up working as bodyguards, a profession that a fair percentage of wrestlers also begin their careers working. In the summer of 2013, Snitsky was given the task of guarding the body of perhaps the most hated man in professional baseball today, Alex Rodriguez. Prior to his 162-game suspension- when A-Rod was on a rehab assignment in Scranton playing for their Triple-A baseball team, A-Rod pulled together a crack security team to protect him from unruly fans and the like. The team included Snitsky, the owner of a local Harley-Davidson dealership, and three staffers from a local high school (the athletic director, principal, and a teacher.) With that many bodyguards protecting one body, one has to assume they each chose a different body part to guard... meaning Snitsky was definitely in charge of A-Rod's feet.
