WWE: 12 Criminal Gimmicks That Should Have Lead To Jail Time

11. Kane Electrocutes The Boss' Son's Testicles

Crime: Assault and genital battery. Just over ten years ago, one of the greatest WWE feuds of all time kicked off when Kane was unmasked and completely lost his mind, becoming the best version of the monster who has all but disappeared now thanks to the diluting influence of comedic gimmicks and poor bookings. And while it was somewhat uneven to cast Shane McMahon - the boss' son we loved to hate even as a face - as a worthy opponent for the berserker, their feud lead to some incredibly memorable moments. Not happy that Kane had tombstoned his mother (despite her head being protected by a good foot of fresh air), McMahon took an ill-conceived stand against his larger, more skilled and more menacing opponent, and ended up being hand-cuffed to the ring and having his boys hooked up to a car battery. If the shock wasn't enough, the crocodile clip completing the circuit must have been pretty uncomfortable. Punishment: Unlawful imprisonment and torture is a bit of a mixed bag in terms of sentencing, but the Big Red Monster could probably have expected somewhere between 7 and 12 years in prison. You'd have thought he would have at least been fired, but then Shane didn't always have the best relationship with his father...
