WWE: 12 Criminal Gimmicks That Should Have Lead To Jail Time

9. Triple H Uses Fake Cops To Assault An Employee

Crime: Assault, and impersonating police officers. Before Daniel Bryan was crowned champion at WrestleMania, at the height of his feud with Triple H, Goat Face found himself on the wrong end of the law when a group of cops arrested him in the ring and left him hand-cuffed and at the mercy of Triple H. Naturally, the cops were in fact actors and the arrest unlawful, opening Triple H to the law himself, which you have to sense he wasn't all that bothered about considering he and his good lady wife then beat the living daylights out of Bryan to re-assert their authority. Presumably wrestlers don't have a very good union. Punishment: A fine of $1000, possible probation, or 5 years in prison are the order of the day usually for impersonating an officer, with more time added for carrying weapons, and the assault should have added even more.
