WWE: 12 Employees Turned Whistleblowers

The men and women who took their complaints about WWE public.

Disgruntled ex-employees are a challenge that any company has to deal with, especially multimillion dollar publicly-traded entities, and WWE is no exception to that rule. When you take into account the strong alpha personalities of most successful pro wrestlers and mix that with Vince McMahon and his company€™s tendency to adopt a tyrannical form of leadership at times, it€™s no wonder we see constant conflicts between talents and the promotion. The wrestling fraternity used to be a close, tight-lipped group of individuals in the kayfabe days, with guys preferring to take a stab wound rather than expose the business. But since the industry outed itself that veil of secrecy no longer exists, and many ex-performers have had no problem going on record in the media, on websites and in shoot interviews about what they€™ve perceived to be injustices while under working under the WWE banner. In this article we€™re going to be taking a look at 12 individuals who either felt wronged personally or a strong opposition to some of the company€™s business practices and decided to speak out against them. These accusations range from annoyed gripes to expensive lawsuits, and some of the people on this list have since reconciled with WWE. After all, when it comes to professional wrestling, even CM Punk said €œnever say never€.
