http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aarkhn--zMs Terry Taylor was a very underrated wrestler, and being made into a character named The Red Rooster did absolutely nothing to help. At first he was portrayed as a heel who couldn't wrestle without the coaching of Bobby Heenan. He was eventually turned babyface, and that's where the "Rooster" part of the gimmick really took hold. He began to style a Mohawk in the middle of his mullet and dyed it red to look like a rooster's comb. He did a little dance and strutted like a rooster to the ring. It was awful. Even during that colorful period in WWE, this character stands out as one of the worst ideas anyone in WWE was successful in pitching to the boss. Taylor had some short runs in WCW and WWE later in his career, but he never quite got to that next level. He currently works for WWE helping out the next generation in NXT. These 12 Superstars all could have gone further had they not been put into terrible gimmicks or had their decent gimmick ruined by bad booking. What Superstars do you feel were wrongly booked into comedy roles?
