WWE: 12 Great Wrestlers Totally Screwed By Comedy Gimmicks
9. Skip
The late Chris Candido had a great wrestling career, but unlike a lot of people, being in WWE was probably the lowest point in his run. Sure, he probably made more money in WWE than anywhere else, but nobody else asked him to act like a fitness fanatic with no sense whatsoever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOKZ1CFaWkI Sunny ended up becoming the bigger star out of the Bodydonnas, but Skip was eventually used to put others over being being released just over 18 months after he debuted. Sunny and Skip were designed to get on your nerves, and the characters were certainly good for that, but Candido was the kind of talent WWE should have been grooming for the main event, not demonstrating the proper push-up.
I have been a writer for Bleacher Report for several years, and am now happy to also be a writer at What Culture! I do my best to contribute anywhere I can in a positive way, and that includes in my writing. Some people call me The Doctor, but Chris is fine.
