WWE: 12 Life Lessons From Ultimate Warrior's 'One Warrior Nation'

8. Exercise Daily

This one I may not follow, but I can easily buy into. The times in my life when I have exercised regularly, I have generally felt more positive, strong, and able to conquer problems. Self-esteem is often adversely affected by poor physical conditioning, and self-esteem affects your ability to cope. In Warrior€™s words, €œphysical activity is the quickest way to kill worry, doubt, and fear€. And while that may be predictably extreme, because this is Warrior€™s world, I do believe that physical activity can certainly enable a person to better deal with stress (if not minimize it by the act of sweating it out and taking a break from the rest of daily life). Warrior states that 90 minutes at the gym is the way to go. While I could pick away at the singular nature of this prescription (some people would never exercise if it only meant going to a gym), I know that weight-trainers can really fall in love with the endorphins and visible results of that route. Not that you won€™t get that positive rush or visible results from playing basketball or doing yoga, but we must remember that Warrior valued the classic, manly pursuits.
