WWE: 12 Moments That Genuinely Almost Ended Undertaker's Streak
11. Arn Anderson - Wrestlemania X8
Though at the time, Arn Anderson wasn't exactly the most eye-catching name in wrestling circles - and within WWE, he's probably best remembered for unfortunately being on the wrong end of Stone Cold's shower of golden justice - it was still genuinely bone-jarring to see him return very briefly at Wrestlemania X8 to help out long time friend and ally Ric Flair, and deliver his signature move. Anderson had been introduced as part of the Flair/'Taker angle in the run up to the event, but it was still shocking to see him enter the ring to hit The Undertaker with a thundering spinebuster. Like the match with Edge, it didn't initially seem that Flair really stood much of a chance to win, but then the fact that it was a No DQ match made it all the more unrealistic that Flair could pull the victory out. If only for a few seconds though, fans genuinely thought that Flair had him after the interference and thanks to that one brief moment, that spinebuster will live in infamy, if only because of the pop it garnered from fans who might not even have known who Anderson was up until a few months before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyLCK-hoahI

For the most part, I'll be writing about the WWE, but I'll try to get myself acclimated to other sections as well. For now, though, enjoy my musings on the insane world of Professional Wrestling.
