WWE: 12 Most Powerful Stables In Wrestling History

7. The Heenan Family

Significant Members: Paul Orndorff, Rick Rude, The Brainbusters, King Kong Bundy, Big John Studd, Andre The Giant, Mr. Perfect. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is one of the top 3 managers in wrestling history. Known for his quick wit and weasely tactics, Heenan was a major thorn in the side of Hulk Hogan and the other WWE babyfaces in the 1980s. Initially formed to take out Andre The Giant, King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd were the first members of the WWE version of Heenan's Family. They were ultimately unsuccessful with conquering Andre, however they did eventually lure him to their cause when he turned on Hogan prior to their WrestleMania 3 showdown. Rick Rude became the family's first champion when he won the Intercontinental title from the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 5. Not long after, Heenan cornered the Brainbusters (Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard) to the tag team championship. Other champions include Mr. Perfect (Intercontinental) and the Colossal Connection (tag team). Memorable Moments: Cutting Andre's hair, Hogan vs. Andre, Rude's win over Warrior, Orndorff's feud with Hogan. Why They Were Powerful: They were involved in most of the major angles in WWE, feuding with the top faces, Andre vs. Hogan is one of the biggest matches of all-time, the Orndorff/Hogan feud did huge business. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7zjQnOSugs
