WWE 13: 10 Attitude Era Superstars Not In The Game

9. Owen Hart

The most tragic member of the Hart family passed away 13 years ago last month in one of the darkest days in pro wrestling when an unnecessary stunt went terribly wrong. WWE have very rarely mentioned Owen on their television or merchandise since the accident, only using footage of him when absolutely necessary and sadly in the process all but erasing Owen's biggest achievements. Hart's widow Martha Hart has partly made sure this is the case. She won a court order which blocks Owen Hart's name from being inducted into the WWE's Hall of Fame or from being used in video game releases. This is why Owen has not been used in a release since WWF Warzone in 1997. Owen was a huge part of the Attitude Era and brother/tag team partner to British Bulldog and Bret Hart who did make the game but due to legal reasons is once again not included to the sadness of those who want to celebrate his career.
