T is for THQ
The company that have brought players many years of exciting and exceptional WWE gameplay. Having held the license since its acquisition from Acclaim back in 1999, THQ has created an exceptional series of the WWE brand. The company is also responsible for other noteworthy games such as Saints Row, Red Faction and Destroy All Humans. While they have seen a significant downturn which has hit some of its studios such as San Diego, the company have stated that they are committed to the WWE series and other games going forward.
U is for Universe
The familiar mode returns, THQ claim that players are given more control than ever with WWE Universe 3.0. With choices determining your destiny by enabling you to form alliances, make enemies, shaping your own schedules and TV shows. The world is your oyster, allowing you to shape and mould it as you see fit. The only limit is the height of your imagination.
V is for Viper
Randy Orton, the Apex Predator was the star of last year's cover. Will the game feature 30 day suspensions? Probably not, it's not something either THQ nor WWE would want to promote, but with a single strike left could this be the final year that we are able to play as the Legend killer. One more wrong foot and the former Legacy leader will be no more. Play him while you can fellow Orton fans.
W is for Wrestling
Whilst you can create to your hearts content, run various storylines in directions which only your imagination can take you, it's the actual in-ring spectacle which this whole game revolves around. Expect a variety of ring styles due to its various characters, along with the move set to compliment each wrestlers abilities, strengths and weaknesses. We've been given little information as to how workings within the squared circle will play out, can we expect a strategic, tactical affair with each character utilising their strengths and weaknesses? We certainly hope so and don't expect any less.
