No wonder The Rock wanted to go to Hollywood: first ass kissing matches, now matches with dog poop? Yes, this is a real match that actually took place. Back in 1999, the late great British Bulldog came back to WWE and had a small feud with The Rock, culminating with The Rock challenging Bulldog to a Dog Poo Match. The objective of this match was to slam your opponent onto a tray of dog poop, and sadly for the loser, there wasn't anything fake or artificial about it. To top it all off, there were people in the backstage area who planned for this to happen. Someone must have written down on a piece of paper "Bulldog lands on a pile of poop." Oh to be a fly on the writers' wall when that particular nugget was dreamed up. At the end of the match, wrestling fans got to see was Davey Boy Smith lying in fecal matter after taking a Rock Bottom in front of thousands in attendance and millions watching around the world. It might not be put on any highlight reel anytime soon, but everyone who saw that moment will most likely never forget it. One can only hope that a guy got a small raise in his paycheck for being willing to do that, but we all know that's probably not true. Surprisingly enough, the Dog Poo Match has never been brought up again.
