WWE: 13 Worst Mic Users In Wrestling History

7. Ahmed Johnson

Ahmed Johnson had the intensity and the presence that makes for a good WWE promo but what he lacked was diction. He would garble a lot of his words to the point where they were basically indecipherable and considering his promos were often a bit out there to start with, it made them very difficult to understand. Of course, there are many superstars that get away with promos that seem to make little sense (look at the Ultimate Warrior) but Johnson's problem was that even if he was talking total gibberish, the audience couldn't figure out literally what he was saying. There is little doubt that this (as well as injuries) played a part in him getting looked over as the first African-American World Champion- despite the fact he was the first African-American Intercontinental Champion and seemed earmarked for bigger and better things.
