WWE: 15 Most Annoying Crowd Chants Ever

14. "Let's Go..."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mXj3LhWmNg It's understandable why people chant it, but that doesn't stop it being annoying. Whether it's by children and and soccermums screaming "Let's go Cena!" or internet smarks shouting "Let's go..." at their flavour of the month, the chant just doesn't make sense! It's grammatically incorrect and completely redundant when you can just shout the wrestler's name. Maybe it's an Americanism, and is lost on British fans - you never go to a football game and hear fans chanting, "Let's go Chelsea!" or go to a boxing match to hear thousands of baying fans screaming "Let's go Froch!" It just isn't done. There is a reason why "fandangoing" got so popular. It was started by British fans who put a spin on the chanting. Go to any football or rugby game and Chelsea Dagger style chanting is the high energy norm. The "Let's Go" chants are baffling and are reminiscent of overzealous parents chanting at their kids while they play school sport... badly.
