13. "Jerry! Jerry!"
This is not an attack on Jerry Lawler. For all his faults, nobody can say they would retire from a cushy job in an industry they love. However, Jerry Lawler, for as much of an experienced hand that he is, is simply past it. It is for this reason that the "Jerry! Jerry!" chants are listed here. Jerry Lawler's few segments where he engages with wrestlers and perves over Divas are not just cringeworthy, but wasting valuable TV time that could otherwise be used for a newer, more talented performer. Fans shouting "Jerry!" at him sends the wrong message: that Lawler is still relevant, and it is still a worthwhile stunt to put him in pointless dance off segments and feuds with younger, more relevant wrestlers. The clip above shows just how redundant Lawler has really become. Do we need more segments like this encouraged by people shouting "Jerry!" at a, forgive the pun, geriatric old man who lost the "it factor" years ago? Hell no!
