WWE: 15 Best Matches In Wrestlemania History

9. Bret 'Hitman' Hart Vs Owen Hart - Wrestlemania IX

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jADPPJjCCjs Allowing Owen Hart to go over his big brother in the opening match at Wrestlemania 10 was a stroke of genius. Owen had been a nobody in terms of PPV's prior to his heel turn and now he was a somebody and potentially the next big heel in WWF/E. This also allowed Owen to get a clean victory over the man who would become World Champion later that same night setting him up as big time player and future star. Owen had been a risk taker prior to turning (see his work as The Rocket) but decided to go with a much less showy ring style as a heel. Despite this the late great Owen Hart still took some of the best bumps in all of the company. It's a shame he never managed to win the big one - perhaps he'd be a multi-time champion by now if he hadn't had his tragic accident. Bret and Owen had countless matches over the years but none came close to bettering this original wrestling master class.
