WWE: 15 Best (As Themselves) Wrestler Cameos In TV & Movies
12. "Hollywood" Hogan Teams With The Bad Guys - Muppets From Space
Plot: Gonzo, attempting to contact his family (an alien race) and his friend Rizzo the Rat have been kidnapped by an FBI-esque federal agency. Hollywood Hogan is called in to dispose of the rat. The n.W.o. storyline was one of- if not the- biggest in wrestling history, leading to an era of popularity not seen before or since. And with The Muppets attempting to reclaim their lost popularity from their height in the 80s, it only made sense for them to reach out to the biggest name from the 80s, Hulk Hogan, for a cameo spot. Of course, with the n.W.o., Hogan was now "a bad guy," and his muscle was utilized by K. Edgar Singer (Jeffrey Tambor) to momentarily get rid of the heroes. Hogan even got in an odd wrestling promo ("This is for all my n.W.o.-ites out there. I will continue to dominate wrestling; I will continue to make your back crack, your knees freeze, and your liver quiver. I will continue to put so much pain on you, you become my 'pain-iac...'") before being cut off by a confused Tambor.
