The enigmatic Canadian was dropped into the Attitude Era at the peak of its popularity - debuting with the WWE in 1999. However, you instantly knew a star was in the making. Jericho's ability to undermine his opponents with outstanding promos ensured he would always be a popular guy - whether acting as a babyface or as a heel. You knew he had something special about him, and he certainly managed to prove that when he was competing. A record nine-time Intercontinental Champion, Jericho's abilities surpassed most of those who stepped into a ring during the Attitude Era. As well as that, he was the first ever Unidisputed Champion in the WWE, when he defeated "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock in the same night.
