Arguably the biggest rivalry of the entire era didn't come from two men who were full-time wrestlers, but between a bold, brash Texan and the biggest power figure in wrestling history - Vince McMahon. Some of the stuff McMahon and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin produced was legendary in WWE circles, with McMahon so often on the receiving end of a beating or a beer soaking from the Texas Rattlesnake. Away from Austin, he headed up The Corporation, and groomed his very own champion in The Rock, in a move that shocked the world at the time. Then there was the 1999 Royal Rumble, where McMahon eliminated Austin last to outlast the rest and win the historic event for the first time. He would even go on to become champion, defeating Triple H.
