WWE: 15 Memorable Staples Center Moments

1. Summerslam 2012 - The Beast vs The Game

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LGTAOhk4Iw Last years Summerslam main event buildup started innocently enough, with Brock Lesnar trying to renegotiate his contract with John Laurinitis. However, when Triple H stepped in to put a spanner in the works, Brock took things personally. The Beast attacked the Game and broke his arm with his Kimura Lock. After some mind games between Paul Heyman and the McMahon family, the match between the two was finally set for Summerslam in Los Angeles. After his surprisingly physical matches against John Cena, most expected the match with Triple H to be more of the same. It turned out to be a strange, but entertaining mix of brawling, wrestling and Brock€™s MMA attack. While slow paced in parts, this match had a big match feel and saw Brock take control of the majority of the match. The turning point came when Triple H started to pinpoint his attack to the stomach of Brock Lesnar, due to his intestine problems. But despite this tactic and even landing a Pedigree, it was Brock Lesnar who ended up on top, locking in the Kimura and forcing Triple H to tap. After the match, Triple H €œretired€ and wouldn€™t wrestle again until Wrestlemania 29.
