7. Dean Malenko
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur4jkkINyQ4 Widely considered one of the finest technical wrestlers to ever grace the squared circle, Dean Malenko wowed audiences in both ECW and WCW, performing for five years in the latter and becoming known as the man of 1000 holds. Malenko held three different during his WCW tenure, most notably the Cruiserweight championship, which he held on four separate occasions, trading it with Chris Jericho on the final two occasions in a memorable feud where Jericho proclaimed that he better as he knew 1004 holds (even if almost all of them were revealed to be armbars when he read them out loud). A number of wrestlers became disillusioned with the way that WCW was run towards the end of the promotion's life. Malenko was one such performer, and jumped ship to the WWE a week after the 2000 Royal Rumble alongside Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn. Becoming known as the Radicalz, the four performed as a unit, feuded with each other and then reformed, before Malenko developed a lecherous gimmick. Despite two Light Heavyweight Championship reigns, Malenko's WWE wasn't particularly memorable, and he was omitted from the only Rumble that he was present for as an active performer in 2001. His technical style would've been an excellent fit for a long run in such a match, however.
